School material collection drive for Syrian refugees.
In a special donation campaign the women’s faculty of Zayed University is collecting new and used school materials for Syrian refugees in Jordan. Within the framework of our cultural exchange with the Zayed University students from grade 11 are participating in this project.
Therefore donation boxes have been created. The DISD box shows a school bus and is set up in the school’s foyer. In September the box with the best design will be rewarded.
Students of grade 11 had started to collect donations in the classes long before the box was completed. They are looking for school materials who are either news or used but in good condition: school bags, backpacks, pencil cases, pencils, water colors, brushes, note pads, etc.
If you would like to donate you can drop your items until end of September. Then the material will be sorted, packed and sent to Jordan.
